3 Days Ssemuliki Wildlife Safari
Under this type of excursion, you will tour semuliki which is a very attractive wildlife tourist destination with a variety of wildlife species which include wildlife animals like the big five, chimpanzee tracking and bird watching. Below is the proposed itinerary for this kind of safari;
Day 1: Kampala-Semuliki
Rise up very early in the morning and have your breakfast and drive south west of Uganda along the DRC border to Semuliki wildlife reserve which is found in the western arm of the East African rift valley.Reach in the evening and check in at Semuliki safari lodge and relax a bit.Go for night game drive for the spectacular view of the nocturnal mammals like the cat hyenas, white tailed mongoose, leopards, standard and pennant winged nightjars among others and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Bird watching and Chimpanzee Tracking
Rise up very early in the morning and have breakfast. Together with packed lunch proceed to the forest for actual tracking of chimpanzee. This search for chimps will also provide you with an opportunity to see other bird species like the Congo serpent eagle, long-tailed hawk, spotted-breasted ibis, black-throated coucal, black-wattle hornbill and many more. You will then return to the lodge for the night.
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala
After your breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred back to Kampala either at the hotel or to the airport depending on the time of your flight, you will have lunch and shopping if needed and this will mark the end of the safari.
